Laptops, tablets, mobile phones and other portable electronic devices often contain highly sensitive information these days. Particularly in government agencies, security organisations, military operations or forensic investigations, these devices must be protected not only from physical damage but also from unauthorised wireless access.
It is specifically during transport, seizure or temporary storage that significant risks arise: Mobile networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS or RFID signals potentially enable tracking, remote access, remote deletion or the manipulation of data.
Secure transport and reliable protection of sensitive electronic devices outside controlled environments are essential, particularly for professional applications.
The solution: the new Shieldex® SINORA Case
Together with Shieldex®, the leading manufacturer of metallised textiles based in Bremen, we have developed the solution: the Shieldex® SINORA Case – a compact transport system that combines mechanical protection with reliable RF shielding.
To achieve this, a Shieldex® laptop shielding pouch was integrated into the SINORA protective case SIN-04640-19BK-E. The system thus offers dual protection: laptops and other portable electronic devices are both physically protected and effectively isolated from wireless communication during transport and temporary storage.
The Shieldex® shielding pouches are also available in other sizes. This means that other devices, such as smartphones and more, can also be protected from unwanted access.
The robust hard-shell design of the SINORA protective case is particularly suitable for mobile use and demanding environments. The integrated shielding pouch operates on the Faraday cage principle, thereby preventing communication via mobile networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS and RFID, and thus reducing the risk of tracking, remote access or data manipulation.

Product presentation at AFCEA 2026
On May 12 and 13, SINORA was present at this year’s AFCEA in Bonn – one of the most important IT trade fairs for defence and public safety in Germany. Here, we were pleased to present our new product combination of the Shieldex® shielding pouch and the SINORA protective case for the first time.
The resulting Shieldex® SINORA Case offers both data security and mechanical protection – thereby closing a critical security gap in transporting and temporarily storing sensitive electronic devices.
