SINORA - Lifetime warranty

1. scope of guarantee

Covered damages:

• Manufacturing defects
• Material defects
• Functional defects

Excluded damage:

• Damage caused by improper use (e.g. deliberate throwing, running over).
• External forces, modifications, normal wear and tear (e.g. wheels on trolley cases).
• Accessories such as foam inserts or interior fittings.

Limitation of value:

The warranty is limited to the product value of the empty case. Replacement products are also covered by the lifetime warranty.

2. proof of warranty

• Proof of purchase required:
  The customer must provide proof of purchase (e.g. an invoice).
• Acceptance of the warranty terms:
  By making a purchase, the customer accepts the warranty terms published on the SINORA website.

3. terms of use

• Intended use:
  The warranty only applies if the case has been used for its intended purpose (e.g. transport of sensitive devices).
• Environmental influences:
  Damage caused by extreme conditions (e.g. chemical exposure, temperatures outside -30 °C to +80 °C) is not covered.

4. Exclusions and limitations

• Modifications and repairs:
  Modifications or unauthorised repairs by the customer invalidate the warranty.

• Wear parts:
  Parts such as seals or wheels are subject to natural wear and tear and are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to water resistance. We recommend regularly cleaning the seal and performing a thorough visual inspection. Additionally, the case should be tested for water resistance at least once a year.
  To ensure the long-term function of the EPDM seal, we recommend treating it regularly with a suitable silicone or rubber care product. Make sure to use an acid-free and solvent-free product to avoid compromising the material properties of the seal. Apply the care product sparingly and evenly, and remove any excess residue.

• Interior fittings:
  Foam inserts or customized fittings are excluded from the lifetime guarantee.

5. Complaints process

• Contact us:
  In the event of a complaint, please contact SINORA customer service (e-mail: mail.eu@sinora-cases.com) or an authorised specialist dealer
• Fault description:
  • Describe the fault in detail.
  • Please provide us with clear photographs and the original receipt to ensure swift processing.
  • Provide your contact details, proof of purchase and purchase data.
• Inspection and processing:
  • SINORA will check whether the defect is covered by the warranty.
  • For valid warranty claims, the case will either be repaired, replaced, or a free replacement part provided for self-installation. The most cost-effective solution will always be chosen. The decision on the method rests at the discretion of the seller or SINORA.
• Assumption of costs:
  • SINORA will bear the costs of repair or replacement.
  • Shipping costs shall be borne by the customer. Place of fulfilment is the registered office of SINORA Cases (currently: D-63897 Miltenberg, Germany).

6. exclusion due to improper use

• Mechanical damage:
  Overloading, intentional damage or improper storage will lead to exclusion.
• Improper use:
  Use for unauthorised purposes (e.g. storage of aggressive chemicals).

7. Responsibilities of SINORA

8. Legal framework conditions

• Voluntary guarantee:
  The limited ‘lifetime guarantee’ is voluntary and supplements the statutory warranty claims.
• Liability:
  SINORA is not liable for the contents of the case or for foam inserts. Alterations, misuse or negligent handling exclude any warranty claims.
• Local requirements:
  Different countries may have specific legal requirements that must be additionally observed.
